5th Grade Science - Senses

So far this year, the 5th graders have learned about our senses of hearing and sight.  They have studied these two senses in depth.  To round out our study of how the brain gains information about the world, students took on the roles of research scholars to learn, and then teach, about the other 3 senses.  Each group researched a different sense (smell, taste, or touch) using valid internet resources.  Then, they worked together to create a poster outlining important facts and details about their sense.
