I am happy to announce that I am going to start offering a once a week extra-help session for my 4th and 5th grade students. The purpose of this 30-45 minute session will vary depending on the student, but will include extra help with current skills and concepts, the opportunity to use the computer (for math programs or typing of projects, as needed), and fact fluency.
Every Thursday morning (starting next week, 9/25/14), I will be in my classroom starting at 7:00am. Students may arrive any time between 7:00 and 7:20 and stay until around 7:40/7:45. At that time, students can go to breakfast or the Sheff Center.
There is no cut-off number of students - the more the merrier! Students can come on a week-by-week basis or every week - I'll be there! However, I do request, that parents contact me (email - HALLB003@hartfordschools.org - or cell phone) to let me know if their child is coming. Please let me know the night before, so I can plan accordingly. Parents will need to bring their child to school, since buses do not arrive at school this early.
If I have to cancel for any reason, I will post on this class site and send an email to all families.
