Division Strategies

Students have been given some different strategies to apply to this concept.  One is traditional Long Division.  Some students were taught a shortened division strategy that uses a lot of mental math skills.  Another strategy students were taught is called Partial Quotient Division - this is a newer way to divide (I did not learn this when I was in school).  Many students have taken to this method and expressed a preference for it over the long division.  Below are some videos and other resources to help with this skill.  There are many more out there, too!
