5A - STARBASE!

Next week 5A will be attending STARBASE-CT.  STARBASE is located in Windsor Locks.  Our daily schedules are outlined below.  Students will wear their REGULAR uniform, complete with dress shoes.  No sneakers should be worn.

Lunch choice reminders will go home tomorrow (Thursday 4/7).  This is the lunch choice for the entire week.  Additional lunches cannot be ordered, as this is district policy.  If your child normally eats breakfast at school, he/she will still be able to do so normally.  We will eat snack upon our return.

Thank you to our chaperones who have kindly volunteered their time to join us on one or more days.  We greatly appreciate you!  We still have room for more chaperones on some days.  If you are able, we would love for you to join us!  Please contact Ms. Halleck (HALLB003@hartfordschools.org or text) if interested.

• 9:00-2:00: STARBASE workshops and challenges
• 2:00pm: Depart STARBASE
• 2:30pm: Arrive back at Capital Prep

Friday, 4/15
• 8:30am: Depart Capital Prep
• 9:00am: Arrive at STARBASE
• 9:00-11:45: STARBASE workshops and challenges
• 11:45am: Depart STARBASE
• 12:15pm: Arrive back at Capital Prep

• Wednesday, 4/13 (1 opening)
• Thursday, 4/14 (3 openings)

5B will have a very similar notice next week - we are also still looking for some chaperones (week of 4/18).
