I cannot believe it's this time of the year, but we are getting ready for the Grays to Blues Ceremony. Mark your calendars - this year, it will be held on Friday, May 13 at 8:15 am (during our weekly All School).
For those of you who do not know, when our 5th graders get promoted to 6th grade, they change uniforms. To signify this transition, we hold a promotion ceremony. At the ceremony, each student exchanges their Gray Lower School vest for a Blue Middle School vest. Following the ceremony, we have a celebration in the Sheff Center! The ceremony and celebration usually run for about two hours in total.

The representatives from Flynn and O'Hara school uniforms will be at Capital Prep on Wednesday, March 30th from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM. I sent home flyers and order forms today.
All students will need a BLUE VEST for the Grays to Blues Ceremony. If you do not plan to send your child to Capital Prep next year, please let me know. We can arrange to borrow vests for the ceremony - all students will participate.
