Below is information about an event being held at the CT Science Center on Saturday, October 10. It is free, but we are limited to 20 students from Capital Prep - first come, first serve. I would love to bring interested 5th graders - it sounds like an awesome event! Please let me know if you are interested. We will coordinate a meeting time at the school so we can all go together - specific details about that will follow.
Join forces with National Society
of Black Engineers (NSBE) members and over 100 local Hartford students to
explore the fascinating intersection of music AND science, technology,
engineering and math (STEM)! The student will explore the "Wild
Music" exhibit at the Connecticut Science Center for
inspiration to build an Arduino-controlled sound device that could compete with
the best of them!
