Both classes took a Super Mad Minute to show me how they are doing with their multiplication facts. I can tell that many of them have been practicing their facts over the summer break! Each Friday we will take a fact fluency test where student have 5 minutes to answer 100 random multiplication facts. My goal is for each student to finish the test within the given time. I want them to improve each week. Practice, practice, practice!! There are many websites and games students can play to practice their facts (Google search "multiplication fact games" and you'll find tons) and mother replaces good old-fashioned flash cards!
