4th Grade News - Week of 7/21

This week we will continue working with angles.  Last week, students visually named angles by their relative size (acute, right, obtuse, or straight).  This week they are going to be more precise.  We started using protractors today.  Here are some great resources to practice using a protractor (virtually):

**D.1 and D.2 are always great practice for multiplication facts**

Even if you are away from the computer, there are things you can do to reinforce angles in real life.  Have your child identify acute, right, obtuse, and straight angles in your home.  Ask them how they know they are correct.  If you have a protractor at home, have them measure angles around the house.
